KITAS (WORKING PERMIT)
For Foreigner who want to stay and work in Bali –
Indonesia. A sponsorship is needed from an Indonesia based Company
The Indonesian company sponsor you need to supply the following
documents to process the KITAS:
- Copy of the Company’s Act
- Copy of the Company’s Locality Letter
- Copy of the Company’s Tax Number License ( NPWP )
- Copy of the Company’s License Letter ( SIUP )
- Organization structure of the Company’s
- Copy of the employee Contract ( for companies employing foreigner )
- Copy of the Director’s Identity Card ( KTP )
- Copy of the Report to the Labor Department adapted by UU No.17, 1981
- Copy of the Identity Card of an Indonesian Work Colleague
- 20 Company Letter Heads singed by the Company Director and
sealed with the Company Stamp.
- A Copy of Company’s Bank Account statement at least
Rp 7.000.000,- available funds.
Foreign Visitor Documents:
- Copy of Foreigner’s Passport
- Curriculum Vitae and References
- Passport sized photographs with red background :
- 4 x 6 = 12 pcs
- 3 x 4 = 8 pcs
- 2 x 3 = 6 pcs
If the foreign visitor wants to take their family with them, the following documents should be supplied for processing the KITAS:
- Copy of the Foreigner’s passport
- Copy of the marriage certificate
- Copy of the children’s birth certificates
- Copy of the Family Register
- Passport sized photographs
- 4 x 6 = 12 pcs
- 3 x 4 = 4 pcs
- 2 x 3 = 4 pcs
Conditions:
- The Process can take up within 30 days
- Validity 01 year
- Can be extended every year until max. 5 years, then possible to apply for permanent stay permit (KITAP)
- Government Tax US$ 1.200
- When the process is finished the following documents will be received:
KITAS
- Blue Book (Control Book from Immigration)
- Yellow Book (Certificate from the police)
- STM (Report Certificate from the police)
- IKTA (working Permit)

To go abroad:
We have to process an ‘Exit Permit’:
- Single Exit Re-entry Permit for 03 months Rp. 700.000,-
- Multiple Exit Re-entry Permit for 06 months . Rp. 1.800.000,-
- Multiple Exit Re-entry Permit for one year . Rp . 2.000.000,-
- Exit Permit only (if you finish your KITAS) ... Rp. 600.000,-
